Gratitude

While Kathy Barnes, (Lilburn Market Coordinator) enjoyed a well deserved vacation with her family, her faithful crew kept Market running like a well-oiled machine! Volunteers: Susan Coker, Sue Martinson and the Wallace Family worked behind the scenes to get Market ready for Pickup this past Thursday. Marie Wheeler of Bakery on Brooks generously volunteered to Coordinate! While I was at Lilburn Market this week, I had little to do! The ladies (and gentlemen – the Wallace sons!) had it covered! I was able to visit with folks that I have missed seeing over the past few months! Thank you all! It is reassuring to know that things run quite well without me! Kathy returns this week!

Tidbits

Marie of Bakery on Brooks will not have offerings on the Market this week; however she will be baking and offer items on the Farmer Sales Table. Her new Ricotta Pound Cake and Oat Bread flew off the Table this past week! Get to Market pickup early for a good selection!

Dabrielle of My Daily Breadoffered Hamburger Buns Sale Table last week and they were quite a hit! Be sure and check out her offerings on the Market! She recently added Peanut Butter Cookies Yummy!

Greg Hutchins of Heritage Farm has Bacon and Smoked Turkey Wings on Special this week! Also, Pre-Orders are still available for Holiday Turkeys and Hams! I don’t know how long this opportunity will be available, so get your orders in soon!

Shalley and David Carrell of Carrell Farms will be on vacation next week, so be sure and check you inventory!

Our Farmers have been seriously busy taking care of crops and there is a plethora of fresh and local Veggies offered this week!
