…this and that…
Pork Ribs are on Special this week! Since it might be a tad chilly to grill, try seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic and caraway seed, place in crockpot, add sauerkraut on top! Served with mashed potatoes and a salad this makes a delicious ‘winter’ dinner!
I have had several calls about Bacon… and I would like to clarify a couple of things. It is important to read the descriptions that the Farmers take time to write and post for each product. The Bacon was listed as 3/4lb weight at the cost of $10.00. In the past, Bacon has generally been offered in 1lb packages and was priced at $12.00. Some of us were surprised to receive 3/4lb packages and a thicker cut Bacon than what Greg generally offers. The difference is in the processor that was used for the last group of piggies. I have been in contact with Greg and descriptions in future postings will specify the ‘cut’ (thick or thin) of the Bacon…as for the weight…READ, READ, READ!
